Q) Hospital stay before and after Bariatric and Cosmetic procedures ?
Patient enters the hospital on the same day of procedure and is prepared for surgery, postoperative he stays till the next day morning where he will be discharged.
Q) Postoperative complications ?
Patient may suffer from gastritis and little stomachache on the first 2 days, nausea and possibly sometimes vomiting on the first day.
Q) Home stay duration ?
Rest at home from work lasts from 5 days to 7 days then the person can resume his normal life.
Q) Follow up duration after the procedure ?
First month postoperative the patient is seen weekly then the second month every 2 weeks then after that every month in the first year.
Q) Preoperative preparation ?
Patients with normal history will be prepared normally with standard investigations and admitted on the day of operation. Old age patients or patients with medical history will be carefully investigated and referred to Anathesia consultant for any recommendations regarding the medical condition. Even if needed he will be admitted preoperative for preparation and if required I.C.U admission.
Q) Vitamins intake for how long ?
Usually the vitamins is required for the first year especially in Bariatric procedures then according for individuals requirements monitored by investigations.
Q) PCA ( Patients controlled Anasthesia ) ?
It is the magical device given to the patient immediately postoperative and it relieves the pain and it keeps working for 72 hours continuously working and even if the patient needs more analgesia there is a button to give him a bolus.
Q) The Garment or Courset for how long it should be wear ?
At least 6 weeks to reach the perfect result
